Language: EN | RU
Dozens of pieces of concept art from the new Fable have unexpectedly appeared online ahead of Xbox Developer_Direct. MP1st published the collection on January 19.
The portfolio of an unnamed artist who worked on the game contains 29 images. They include:
- the legendary Bloodstone from Fable 2;
- sewers containing a huge Balverine;
- the Hero’s home village, labeled Hamlet, before and after flooding;
- several chest designs.
Some images provide a detailed map of Bloodstone. It includes a castle, market district, arena, artisan district, “pub island” and a path that apparently leads to a character named Jacobs.
The full collection can be viewed on FableGame, in our Telegram channel and in our VK group.
Earlier in January, it was announced that the new Fable would be shown on January 22 at Xbox Developer_Direct, with the developers promising a “deep dive into gameplay.”
The game has officially been in development at least since 2020. Footage was last shown in the Xbox podcast in February 2025. The game had also been scheduled for 2025, but was delayed and is now expected roughly by autumn 2026. Xbox and PS5 versions will apparently launch at the same time. The game is also likely to receive an ESRB Mature 17+ rating.
