Demon Doors in Fable 3

This page contains a list of the Demon Doors in Fable 3, how to open each one, and the rewards hidden behind them. There are seven Demon Doors in total.

Demon Door List

Brightwall Demon Door

Location behind the door Last Orders
How to find it Before the gate leading out towards Mistpeak Valley, turn left. Another useful landmark is the tavern: take the path to the right of the building.
Reward 25 Guild Seals
Three Summon Creature Potions

This melancholy door considers the world a "horrible, tragic place" and longs to see something other than "evil, greed, suffering and pain" — namely "innocent, pure, happy souls". Children fit that description best.

How to open it: bring your child to the door and pick them up directly in front of it. You can either have a child of your own and wait until they are old enough, or adopt one from the Orphanage in Bowerstone.

The first method requires unlocking the appropriate expressions on the Road to Rule. The second also requires access to the Orphanage in Bowerstone Industrial, depending on the decision you make during your reign.

Behind the door is an atmospheric realm called Last Orders — an island with a tavern full of partying skeletons.

Mistpeak Valley Demon Door

Location behind the door Demon Door Retirement Home
How to find it Head uphill from the lake towards Brightwall until you reach a small turn near a suspended wooden bridge. Follow the path beneath the bridge.
Reward Legendary Weapon

Opening this door requires two players, making it arguably the most difficult of the seven. The second player must join you either through online co-op or, on console, using a second controller for local co-op.

Approach the door together and interact with each other. You can use romantic expressions unlocked on the Road to Rule and eventually marry each other, or perform other positive expressions. The Legendary Weapon goes to the player who opens the chest.

The realm behind this Demon Door contains many other Demon Doors, and one of them can be spoken to: it is the old Brightwood Demon Door from Fable 2. It tells the player how it once opened for the Hero of Bowerstone.

Mourningwood Demon Door

Location behind the door Planet One
How to find it Head to the raised ground just east of the Eco-Warrior Village.
Reward Military Suit
Summon Creature Potion

The door is troubled by the endless wars of Albion and believes that only an exceptionally powerful weapon could put an end to all conflict.

How to open it: maximise either your melee or ranged weapon skill. Simply unlock the final corresponding chest on the Road to Rule, approach the door, and strike it with the weapon.

It is best to use one of the Hero weapons you receive near the beginning of the game. If you decide to use a Legendary Weapon instead, you will also need to unlock all three of its upgrades.

The portal takes you to the strangely named Planet One: the Hero literally finds themselves standing on a barren hill in outer space.

Sunset House Demon Door

Location behind the door Pools of Sorrow
How to find it As soon as you enter the region, look to the left of the gate, before the fence.
Reward 1,000,000 gold

This door will open only for the ruler of Albion, which happens to be one of the main objectives of the story.

How to open it: become King or Queen of Albion and simply approach the door. If the reward is claimed early enough and invested in property, the money can be extremely useful when preparing to save the kingdom from the coming darkness.

Whoever left such a useful reward also placed a note beside the chest, although it explains almost nothing: "This is a message. It is a very important message. A message meant only for royal eyes. This is a message. You're about to read it. I'm not stalling. Really. The message is... Oh, look, I'm running out of space. Just have some gold."

Millfields Demon Door

Location behind the door Twitcher's Curtains
How to find it On the opposite side of the lake from Reaver's Manor.
Reward 40 Guild Seals

This door's requirements strongly resemble those of the Barrow Fields Demon Door in the first Fable: your Hero needs to become unattractive. To do this, gain plenty of weight and wear the ugliest clothes in your wardrobe.

Fattening food such as pies, meat, and beer will help you gain weight. Around 20 items should be enough. For clothing, pyjamas work well and can also be dyed to make the outfit even less attractive.

Behind the door lies what appears to be the lair of some enormous spider — a dark cavern covered in webs.

City of Aurora Demon Door

Location behind the door The Moral View
How to find it Near the exit from the city, on the road towards Shifting Sands.
Reward Avo's Lamentation / Skorm's Justice

How to open it: become completely good or completely evil over the course of the game. There is also a faster way once you have access to the Royal Treasury: deposit money into it to become more good, or take money out to move towards evil.

This door cannot be opened before the Revolution because it is blocked by a large rock. The appearance of the realm behind it depends on the Hero's morality.

Ravenscar Keep Demon Door (DLC)

Location behind the door Cartographilia
How to find it Below the main path leading to the entrance of Ravenscar Keep.
Reward Prison Guard Suit

How to open it: approach the Demon Door while wearing the full Prisoner Suit. Its individual pieces can be found in chests scattered across the island.

You cannot open this door without the Traitor's Keep DLC, which adds Ravenscar Keep to the game. With the expansion installed, the region becomes accessible through a quest after completing the main story.
