New Fable Achievement List Accidentally Leaks Online
Language: EN | RU
The achievement list for the new Fable unexpectedly appeared in Exophase's public database ahead of the game's release, players noticed. It contains 59 achievements, some of which include story spoilers.
The requirements include uncovering the secrets of Bloodstone, encountering a White Balverine, finding an ancient weapon in Deepwood and making a certain "important choice." The icon for the latter shows a red lightning strike hitting Bowerstone.
Other achievements reveal some of the game's mechanics. In particular, players will be asked to:
- buy 350 houses or businesses;
- spend 20,000 gold with a town crier;
- complete 20 jobs from noticeboards;
- destroy every Fairy Flower;
- fully upgrade every weapon;
- accumulate one million gold.
Exophase founder Mike Bendel, known as x3sphere, explained on ResetEra that the data appeared on the site automatically due to a possible issue on Valve's end.
"Seems like a possible screw up on Valve's end, a bunch of games with achievements that should be private are accessible through the API right now and that's why they got scanned into the site," he wrote.
Last week, Gamescom 2026 featured 18 minutes of gameplay, both with and without developer commentary. The footage shows a story quest set in Bowerstone. The heroine arrives in the city after an incident in her home village of Briar Hill, meets Humphry, the head of the Heroes' Guild, and tries to help him out of debt, including by fighting local bandits.
Journalists were also able to play another demo focused on the combat system. In a different quest, the Hero and Humphry descend into a mine and fight Hollow Folk and ghosts.
Fable will be released on February 23, 2027, although players who purchase the Premium Edition or Collector's Edition will be able to start five days earlier, on February 18.
