Fable Will Look Great on All Platforms
Language: EN | RU
The Fable reboot will look "great" on every platform it launches on, Associate Game Directors Craig Littler and Will Kennedy said.
"What we will say is that our approach to all platforms is really the same, in that we want the game to look great wherever you're playing it, and for it to be appropriate for the platform later on," TechRadar quotes Littler as saying when asked about console graphics settings.
The developer confirmed that the Xbox Series X version will offer a 60 FPS performance mode, but declined to say whether there will be any noticeable differences between the PC and Xbox versions.
In late August, the developers presented two demos at Gamescom 2026, allowing players and journalists to see a story quest set in Bowerstone and try out the combat system of the new Fable. The game's system requirements were also clarified.
The game will be released on February 23, 2027, for PC, Xbox and PlayStation, although players who purchase the Premium Edition or Collector's Edition will be able to start playing five days earlier, on February 18.
