Lionhead Studios may be working on a project codenamed "Fable Next", Develop reported on October 20, citing game-industry sources.
According to the report, the project is part of Microsoft’s preparations to launch the next generation of Xbox in 2013.
"In further developments: <...> Develop understands that Lionhead is working on a project internally named ‘Fable Next’, which will launch on the new console", — the report said.
Microsoft declined to comment on the matter.
In late August, Official Xbox Magazine suggested that Fable 4 could be released in 2013.
