Fable 4 may be in development at Lionhead Studios, with a possible 2013 release, Official Xbox Magazine has speculated.
"Look for the Fable cycle to continue with a proper, controller-based Fable 4 in 2013", — Eurogamer quoted the magazine as saying.
"In the latest issue of OXM, the publication speculates that Lionhead is also chipping away at a proper Fable sequel, due out in 2013. The rumor should come as no surprise considering Microsoft's dwindling collection of reliable first-party franchises", — Game Informer wrote about the same report.
Game Informer also noted that Fable creator Peter Molyneux had seemed "seemed underwhelmed" while presenting Fable: The Journey. The publication suggested that the designer might simply have been reserving his enthusiasm for another project.
