New Fable Dialogue Was Recorded Without AI

Voice acting for the Fable reboot was recorded without using AI, confirmed by Playground Games on June 10.
“There’s no generation involved in it. We’ve got a really fantastic cast of actors who have come in and recorded tons and tons of dialogue,” one of the developers said during Summer Game Fest.
According to the studio, every NPC is fully voiced, with around 100 actors cast for the game’s “Living Population” alone.
A few days earlier, a new Fable trailer was shown at Xbox Games Showcase 2026. It revealed several story spoilers, including a Hero antagonist named Isabel, a battle in Glushville and even the return of Jack of Blades.
The showcase also confirmed the final release date of February 23, 2027, the game’s editions and prices, system requirements and cast, and announced its first DLC. There will be no official Russian localization.
