Russian artist Roman Kropotov has created an impressive series of artworks featuring characters from the new Fable — both familiar faces and characters revealed only recently.
The June 18 collection features Jack of Blades, the Hero of Briar Hill, Isabel, Heroes’ Guild master Humphry and “vegetable enthusiast” Dave. Three of those characters had been announced some time ago, while antagonist Isabel and Jack’s return were only revealed earlier this month at Xbox Games Showcase 2026.
The collection consists of seven images with an elegant green background inspired by the game, along with captions. Each character appears separately, while the group is shown in two versions. Jack wears his classic red outfit and carries the Sword of Aeons, Isabel holds a spear, and Humphry is clad in heavy armour with a shield and mace.
The Hero of Briar Hill, the protagonist, looks sorrowful as she quietly grips her sword, while Dave holds an enormous pumpkin.
“It was incredibly exciting! Every character has their own value, each of them has unique charisma and their own short story that inspired me to create this illustration,” Roman wrote on his Telegram channel, where he had previously shared sketches from the project.
Earlier, in January, Kropotov presented another large-scale piece of fan art based on the Fable reboot. The detailed artwork, titled The Places of Albion, features the Hero, Hobbes, fairies, chickens, Glushville Castle and much more.
Roman has spent many years creating highly polished artwork based on the Fable series — Fable Legends, the unreleased Fable 4, and now the new Fable. Many of his works have become widely known online. A dedicated album in the FableGame gallery showcases his art.
